Trudon, publishers and owners of Yellow Pages, have been sponsoring the series for the past three seasons.

“With the conclusion of the Juniors and Seniors championships earlier this year, our sponsorship contract came to an end,” says Lionel Smith, Trudon’s GM: Marketing.

“We started negotiations with ASA after the Berlin world championships in August.,” adds Smith.

The outcome of these talks will determine the future of the sponsorship.

“It would be premature to predict the outcome of these negotiations. The promotion of our brand Yellow Pages is paramount and we will be guided by what is in the best interest of the brand,” concludes Smith.
