The strategic direction for Trudon’s CSI programmes is to support programmes that are related to our corporate values. Our main focus areas are: Education, Conservation & Environment Support, Employee Voluntary Programme (EVP) and Skills development.
In order for Trudon to be effective, the CSI programme must have a positive and lasting impact where it operates.
Educational programmes to be funded range from adopting schools in disadvantaged communities that have a record of a low matric pass rate, assisting disadvantaged learners from Grade 8 to those at tertiary level. This includes granting bursaries as well as intervening through revision and other remedial processes such as contributing computers to disadvantaged community libraries.
As a responsible corporate citizen, Trudon must play its part in ensuring the sustainability of the environment we live in.
Trudon is thus committed to managing effectively the direct environmental impacts associated with its operations. This extends to the areas of: Promoting the Recycling of Old Directories, Plant-a-Tree for every directory produced and Promoting an internal environmentally friendly printing solution.
Through our EVP, our employees are given an opportunity to donate their time and experience to a registered (Non-governmental Organisation) NGO, school or registered charity they would like to support.
The Trudon CSI committee will back up employee activity in the community to help ensure that the projects they support are successful.
